The issues of noise reduction in woodworking industries are
getting worse every year. Noise suppression has become a relevant problem of
our time, since its solution can, on the one hand, guarantee normal working
conditions, free up auxiliary resources to increase labor productivity, which
ultimately fully justifies the material labor costs for noise control. Now it is more
advantageous for the business owner not to invest reserves in the engineering
and technical renewal of their enterprises, but to use outdated woodworking
equipment, regularly carrying out regular repairs. Improving working conditions
at small woodworking enterprises according to the noise criterion - the main
harmful production criterion-is relevant. The publication provides a sample of
noise reduction on woodworking machines using a reverberation chamber.
