About the Journal

The Journal of Emerging Technologies and Computing (JETC) is a peer-reviewed, open-access national and international scientific journal. JETC considers original research articles that have not been previously published in other outlets, focusing on computer science, infocommunication technologies, and mathematical studies with applied aspects. This guideline has been developed in accordance with the policy of SDU University regarding scientific publications and the following regulatory documents of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan: “On approval of the requirements for scientific publications for inclusion in the list of recommended publications for the publication of research results”, “On approval of the rules for awarding degrees” – Order No. 127 of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 31, 2011.

The aim of JETC is to foster scientific research in the fields of computer science, info communication technologies, and their applied mathematical aspects, and to publish the research results of Kazakhstani and international scholars.

Scientific focus areas of the journal include: applications of computer science, infocommunication technologies, and mathematics with applied aspects.

JETC is published four times a year (in March, June, September, and December). All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers. Articles that successfully pass the full peer-review process, fully meet the journal's requirements, and are approved through joint discussion by the reviewers and editorial board, are considered for early access publication.
